Un breve riassunto di #SupportingInclusion

I n cosa è consistito il progetto #Supporting Inlclusion? Scopriamolo attraverso la brochure conclusiva:

Goodbay Francisco

Maarja: Volunteer in Palermo

Here a post written by our ESC volunteer Maarjia on her blog :)

Benvenuta Maarja

Get inspired by Jana's handcrafts

Good bye.

My dear Family- Thank you! You are in my heart, and now it is full of love and kindness. My future volunteer, I wish you only one thing- sleep well because when you wake up and come to the organisation it will make you happy-happy! Jana Tint 29.11.2019

Sick in my bed

Hello, While I am sick for some day that I don’t know how long, but here I am in the bed and I realized one thing. I remember one day last week I helped Martina to color with users, and one second I stoped the time, and I see how wonderful that I am here, how important to be here, people around you accepts you like you are, how you are. And I am myself, and it is awesome! I am so happy to be here, to open myself to people, and every person is different but the love unites everyone. Thank you that I am here. Jana

Day

Today we took a free day in the organisation. We went to Giulio park and to the sea. Also, we tried Chinese food in Felice restaurant, the food is good and the prices also. Now I am home. Today I had a little panic, maybe im tired. But Irina quickly reacted and we went home. Its I think reaction on my medicine and maybe I'm tired. Actually, I am. Its almost 2 weeks and I will go home. But no worrie its ok, can happen with everyone. When panic starts, breath deep: in and out. And take a rest at your bed, call to person you love and he/she makes you calm. Today it was very rainy in the morning and after it was so beautiful at the sea, differet colors. I love to be near the sea, its calming me down. Thank you Irina, that we went, because i felt in the morning sick of my throught and was very tired, but she took me and we went to walk. Sea. So now i go to warm shower and sleep and ready for next days, i tell you after what we did tomorrow. Big hug, Jana

Jana and Irina: November

Hello! My name is Irina and came from Tallinn, Estonia. This is my third time in Palermo and in Uniamoci Onlus organization.   I have been here before during the small projects held by the   Erasmus plus and this time I will stay here for a whole November to support Jana and other users of organization. I’m really happy to be here and to see how the things change and how many work is done since my last visit. The place, where is the organization, is changed a lot: here are   new paintings and small interior details. The interior of the place looks really   beautiful, cosy and colorful, especially the floor. But the best thing is that the people are still the same – friendly, beautiful, always ready to help and with open hearts and minds. You know that no matter what, you can always rely on them and have support in any kind of situations. This is truly precious!   Hello again, I’m happy to say, that my friend Irina came to organization, and Katerina very s...

The fourth week has begun.

We and the guys feel more open with eachother. All people have their own time for adaptation. I try to pay attention to everyone, but not everyone is ready to communicate with me.  Dear future volunteer, do not be afraid, you will discover a new world for yourself, friends and know yourself. Katerina
Hello. Today is Monday of the third week we’ve been to Palermo. Monday we come at 9:30, and users are also, today was geography lesson of Russia and Europe. Also, Francesca told us about photography, you know that the first photo camera of the train was so big like a truck. Today I realized that I can’t work with numbers and can’t concentrate, so Ekaterina did everything twice of my work. So now I write a blog. Yesterday we went to the sea and eat gelato, the best gelato around us, try pistachio and tiramisu J We sited near the harbor, and watch how a large ship drives away. But most beautiful was the moon, orange, big moon. We talked about everything, and we are open to each other. Because of my disable I see things and hear, yesterday I hear a lot of someones called by my name like 9 times, but  Katerina holds my hand and I feel protection, sometimes I want to cry, but one hug can help me a lot. In Uniamoci Onlus I discover myself every day, and of course each person ...

Second week.

In Monday we had first lesson with origami, you can see a lot of fishes flying. We also   had this week an excursion in the city center with people from different countries.   Also we me Katarina and Sergio did a evening about Erasmus plus. Talked about organization, what we do in it. We learned about users, that they do a lot for ecology and future. I just can’t believe, but they are strong users, no matter what difference they have. Today, on Friday we have painting hour with Martine and theater lesson with Sergio, we sit in circle and together we were active, funny, and ourselves. This week is went very fast, because every day was something new.     It’s interesting how your mind playing with you and develop, so every day you surprise yourself with new ideas. We all come from house where is our life. And when we in Uniamoci Onlus we are like one united organism, we have different moods, education, but no matter what we are, we do here one purpos...
